Wei graduated from Yale undergrad & Yale Law School, after which she worked at a top-5 law firm (Davis Polk & Wardwell) on such deals as the $8.2 billion Chicago Tribune bankruptcy and the Delta Airlines reorganization. She taught herself finance at night because she was curious, leading to a move to investment banking at Moelis, and an internship at ffVC, before teaching herself Product Management to move to startups in San Francisco. She was one of the first 10 employees at Sendwave, which recently sold for $500M. Meanwhile, she taught herself how to code at night to automate regulatory compliance workflows, which led her to becoming a founder. After founding Clipboard Health (CBH), Wei graduated from Y Combinator and raised both her seed round and Series A round. Today, her company CBH helps thousands of healthcare professionals find last-minute shifts at hundreds of healthcare facilities in over a dozen cities.
