Analisa Leonor Balares is the Chair & Chief Innovation Architect of Womensphere, and the Womensphere Foundation, and creator of platforms to empower the next generation of women and multicultural leaders. She oversees a global creative and innovation portfolio, including leadership accelerators, corporate consulting & advisory, open innovation initiatives, global summits, and new media platforms. Analisa is Global Advisor to NED Biosystems, a clinical-stage biotech company pioneering the development of systemic treatments for two of the world’s deadliest diseases: COVID-19 and cancer.
Analisa also serves as a NASA Datanaut, supporting NASA’s Open Innovation initiatives and the NASA International Space Apps Challenge. She is a Member of the philanthropic network Women Moving Millions, a Commissioner of the Women’s Refugee Commission, and Advisory Board Member of Music Beyond, Wearing Irish, and Women & Girls Africa.
Analisa has been recognized as a UBS Global Visionary and World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, honored among the 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the World, and has received Distinguished Leader Awards from institutions such as UN Women New York, State of New York, Society of Foreign Consuls NY, and the US National Minority Business Council.
Analisa previously worked in investment banking at the Goldman Sachs Technology Group and Morgan Stanley Energy & Power Group, and in global marketing and business development at Microsoft, Milestone Capital, and 85 Broads (now Ellevate). She is an alumna of Harvard Business School, Mount Holyoke College, New York Film Academy, and Lester Pearson United World College.
